1970s ROBIN DAY FOR HILLE (UK) CHAIR
An icon of UK design, Robin Day’s bucket chair produced in the 1970s by Hille Furniture provided the UK equivalent to the Eames DAR series. A functional, elegant design that is suitable in multiple uses.
This particular example has been previously upholstered in a lovely green vinyl and still presents in excellent vintage condition. The chrome frame presents well, with a shiny finish and only light patina.
A very cool piece as an occasional chair, desk chair or in a smaller lounge setting.
