Combining a design studio with curation of vintage designer furniture, Alpha Modern is a home that celebrates personality in the interior space. Founded in 2019, the Alpha Modern Studio is now located at 558 Crown Street, Surry Hills.

Each piece that is showcased in the studio has been passionately crafted or restored in house, allowing our client base of interior designers, stylists and creative customers to bring their interior dreams to life through connecting with the narrative timeline of fine furniture design. 

Alongside Alpha Modern pieces sits rare and collectible pieces from the finest producers such as B&B Italia, Cassina, Artifort, Fritz Hansen, Herman Miller, Vitra, Poliform, Edra, Ligne Roset, Kartell, Flos and many more. 

Our collection is constantly evolving with new pieces being sourced from around the world, whilst our design and craftsman team continue to deliver new Alpha Modern Creations that excite and inspire the future of furniture design locally. 

Our ethos is that furniture should be an accessible investment, not future landfill and this ethos inspires us to design and produce pieces that are crafted to last multiple life-times. We also offer upholstery and restoration services to our clients so that their designer pieces can be enjoyed for generations. 

We partner with our clients who share this ethos, working with the likes of Zimmerman, AJE, Shona Joy, Ovolo Hotels and multiple prestigious interior design firms to assist them in creating very special interior spaces. We also offer access to our pieces for campaign photoshoots via hire and our pieces have featured in campaigns from Burberry, Country Road, Mimco, Audible, Blanca Studios, General Pants and many more.
